About Me

Hello! Thank you for checking out my portfolio. My name is Summer. I’m a student at Tufts University pursuing a BS in Human Factors Psychology, as well as a BFA in Studio Art, through Tufts’ 5-Year Combined Degree program. I am passionate about bringing creative approaches to user-centered design.

In my free time, you can find me reading, drawing, sewing, or exploring the outdoors. I’m currently based in Boston, Massachusetts.

  • My middle name is Zien. It comes from the Vietnamese name Dien, which is my grandmother’s name.

  • I’ve always loved imagining, planning, and making things. As a kid, I went on a roundabout journey of channeling this into fashion, then practical SFX, then illustration, and now, at last, I’ve found my rhythm in product design. I’m excited to apply my passion to projects that make a positive impact!
